- The history of Tempe Tape & Disc can be traced back to 1984 when
[owner] Andy Baade relocated from his home in Southern California. Andy
came to Arizona to explore the growing music scene and played keyboards
in a variety of popular touring bands.
To supplement his studio and live work he opened Tempe Tape Duplication in 1984 intending to service a need for high quality cassette duplication in the Phoenix/Tempe area.
